How do you celebrate Communion and can I join in?

We celebrate Communion on the first and third Sunday of each month. The bread is brought round, people take a piece and eat it as they are served. Non-alcoholic wine is served in individual small cups. We wait until everyone has been served and then drink it together as a sign of our oneness in Christ. Everyone who knows Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord is welcome to take communion. If you are not sure what this means, or you feel uncomfortable about taking bread and wine, please feel free to let the bread and wine pass you by.

In the face of the spread of infectious diseases, including influenza, these arrangements ensure a degree of protection. We do not follow the practice of sharing a single cup.
